Fall CSA Memberships Available

Posted 8/13/2019 1:07pm by Ryan Lacz & Liz Balchin.

Hi All-

Hope you're well, and enjoying this fine weather we are having- dare I say that this summer is actually cooperating?  You might think that I've jinxed it, but, sadly, I really don't have that kind of influence on Mother Nature ;)

I do, however, have the power to set our 'Traditional CSA' options and delivery sites for this Fall!  Behold the changes for this September-December's season:

  • Whole Duck a month add-on option now available
  • Madison & South orange deliveries changed to the 3rd Sunday of each month, to avoid the holidays.
  • Madison delivery time is now 12:45pm-1:45pm, to give us a bit more time to get there...
  • We can't offer lamb add-on options this fall- we're expanding our flock & hope to offer it in the future.

There are sizes and options to fit every family or individual's needs- from vegetarians, to the occasional meat eater, to a large family of hardcore carnivores!  We only sell what we raise on our farm: meats, eggs and mushrooms that are raised ethically and with organic practices.  You can read more about the various options and sizes on our website here.

We offer monthly drop offs in New Jersey: Madison, South Orange, Chester @ Gazebo Park, Let It Grow Farm in Chester, as well as a Farm pick up option (5% discount).  We also deliver to Stroudsburg, PA.

If you have any questions, let us know, we're always happy to help!

A very special thanks to the 35 backers who have donated to our Kickstarter campaign to help expand our field fencing- we're 92% funded towards our $4,000 minimum goal with $3,676 pledged as of noon Tuesday.  The $500 match challenge was a great success, and we just received the pledge for that.  We now have sponsors for:

  • 6 shade trees
  • 21 fence posts
  • 5 names for lambs or piglets
  • 2 gates
  • The solar panel
  • The electric fence controller
Still 18 days to go until the Kickstarter wraps up, hopefully we can surpass our goal!
